East Downtown is proud to host Houston’s official FIFA Fan Festival™ for the 2026 World Cup. For 39 days, EaDo will transform into the ultimate destination for soccer fans from around the world. With half a million visitors expected, our neighborhood will buzz with energy, culture, and the beautiful game.

The Fan Festival will feature live entertainment, viewing areas for matches, interactive exhibits, food and beverage experiences, and celebrations that showcase Houston’s incredible diversity. July 6-19, 2026: Shell Energy Stadium transforms into a celebration venue with Fan Festival overflow, open field access, and a variety of entertainment throughout the final weeks of the tournament.

Special programming includes two international friendly matches, a major concert event, open field access, and daily entertainment celebrating the global game.
